Mount Langley, taken by Patrick on the Mount Langley 2009 trip, shot from the ridge South of Old Army Pass after a short scramble from Long Lake.

Mount Langley, located just South of Mount Whitney and accessed via Lone Pine, is one of California's 14ers and offers routes ranging from walk-up to technical. The summit vistas are excellent, superior to those from Whitney in the author's view (pun intended).
