Guided Skiing in NZ, Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park

Just got back from a couple weeks on the South Island of New Zealand. Three of us spent 6 days touring around Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park after getting heli dropped at one of the awesome backcountry huts they have in the area. We hit a rare, multiday window of bluebird weather and got in some perfect skiing/splitboarding, in addition to learning the intricacies of glacier travel and Kiwi slang. We spent most of the time on the Tasman Glacier, but also pillaged a few others in the vicinity as well as a few days at the local ski fields.

Definitely recommend using some local knowledge given the crevasses (numerous) and icefalls (frequent).
